PC Sunshine Board and PC Endurance Board both contain UV resistance, and the surface is usually covered with a protective film, some may be double-sided. The most important function of this protective film is to protect the PC board, preventing damage and scratches caused by careless handling, logistics, and installation.

So when installing PC boards, it is necessary to consider the factor of UV resistant coating. How should the side with protective film be installed?

1. Single layer protective film: The protective film should be installed facing the sun, as the solar panel manufacturer may co-extrude a UV coating on the side of the film. Even if the UV is not co-extruded, the side is relatively well protected and plays a role in reflecting harmful light.

2. Double layer protective film: First confirm with the manufacturer which sides the UV coating is on, and install the side with the UV coating facing the sun; If there is no UV coating, choose a well protected side of the solar panel and install it facing the sun.
